Recently Cheryl Burke, one of Rob Kardashian’s friend and Dancin With The Stars former teacher and partner of starts, talked with WetPaint Entertament about his weight issue and how her and Rob are sometimes going out and spending time together as friends.
Wetpaint Entertainment: You and Rob became really good friends during Season 13. Are you still really close with him?
Cheryl Burke: Yeah, I am! We don’t hang out every day, but we’ll talk every once in awhile. We haven’t seen each other in a long time, but he gives me a call everytime I start the season up again. During the hiatus, we’ll hang out.
WetPaint Entertament: He’s on a really big health kick right now. Has he approached you for any weight loss tips?
He definitely called me, and was like, “I’ve gained so much weight. I need help. Will you help me?” So I said, “First of all, you need to eat well.” It’s all about eating your three meal a day and snacking in between. For example, when I snack, I love Sargento cheese. It’s so easy, and it’s on the go. I mean, who doesn’t love cheese? You don’t want to starve yourself. That’s the worst thing you can do. You always end up gaining weight by doing that. But snacking keeps your body working and burning those calories.
WetPaint Entertament: That’s such great advice. We’re definitely looking forward to his body transformation!
I’m sure Rob is going to do fine! He just needs to get his butt in the gym and eat well. I wish he would have done All-Stars. I know he loved the show, and he had no choice but to wake up and dance every single day. He’s much happier when he’s active. I think he’ll get there — he just needs the motivation.
